Judge's Comment
"The service and hospitality provided in English were exceptionally polite and attentive. The host spoke excellent English, delivered an almost flawless presentation, and carefully answered all questions from the participants. The participants on that day were all from English-speaking countries, and everyone appeared highly interested in the host’s stories and thoroughly enjoyed themselves. Since many travelers from abroad want to try sake, it is wonderful to have an opportunity to learn about the history and manufacturing process of sake before tasting various brands."

Hi, I’m Hide, the owner and sommelier of WASAKE. Having lived abroad, I know how intimidating it can be to step into a local bar and order something when you don't know the language or culture.
That’s why I created this studio—to offer international travelers a hands-on sake learning experience that goes beyond a typical tasting. Together with my team of certified Sommeliers and Sake Professionals, we focus on equipping you with the practical knowledge and actionable skills you need to navigate any sake menu in Japan with ease. Let’s demystify sake together in a fun, relaxed atmosphere!
